  4. Engineer's Report for FY 2022-23 for the City of Cloverdale
    Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District and Set the Time and date of the Public Hearing for Zones 1-7

City Launches Water Upgrade $ave Program

On Monday, April 18th BayREN’s Water Upgrades Save program will officially launch in the City of Cloverdale! Utility customers will receive an introduction/invitation letter in the mail inviting customers to save water and money with the City of Cloverdale’s new Water Upgrades $ave program.

The Water Upgrade Save Program is designed to help homeowners and single-family renters install water and energy efficient upgrades — like high-efficiency toilets, showerheads, and aerators. You’ll see little-to-no upfront cost and a monthly utility-approved on-bill charge that is significantly lower than the estimated savings. So you start saving right away!

How to Upgrade and Save:
Step 1. Enroll by clicking on Water Upgrades Save | Bay Area Regional Energy Network (bayren.org) starting on Monday 4/18 or call (Toll-free) 1.877.846.8795. 
Step 2. Get a Free Assessment 
Schedule your free home assessment to learn about potential water savings. 
Step 3. Choose Your Upgrades
Including high-efficiency toilets, showerheads and aerators, and low-water-use landscaping.
Step 4. Schedule Your Installation 
Schedule a date and time that works best for you and a qualified program contractor will come to install your upgrades.
Step 5. See Water Savings
You’ll see savings immediately because you’ll use less water and energy!
There’s little-to-no upfront cost, no new debt, no lien and no credit check. If you move, the charges and savings apply to the people who come after you!

  • Our region is still in a drought.  Read drought condition updates here.
  • Visit the California Water Watch website and enter your address to see how much rainfall your local area has received to date. 
  • View Current Water Supply Levels for Lake Pillsbury, Lake Mendocino, and Lake Sonoma Here
  • Conservation requirements are still in place in the City of Cloverdale. Residents are encouraged to continue using water wisely and eliminate water wasting activities. Learn more water saving tips at savingwaterpartnership.org
  • The statewide Save Our Water conservation campaign at SaveOurWater.com also provides simple ways to reduce water use in their everyday lives.

130th Annual Citrus Fair Kicked Off!

The 130th Annual Citrus Fair officially kicked off on Thursday afternoon!  The Fair will host a series of activities from Thursday, April 21 through Sunday, April 24. For more information about planned activities at the Fair, visit: Cloverdale Citrus Fair | Cloverdale Citrus Fair

The Cloverdale Police Department  issued a Nixle Community Advisory Notice to provide essential information for those wishing to attend the Fair and Parade.

  • The Citrus Fair Parade will take place on Saturday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM.
  • Road closures will be in effect from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
  • Cloverdale Blvd will be closed to through traffic from 4th Street to Citrus Fair Drive and motorists will not be permitted to cross Cloverdale Blvd from any side street throughout the parade route.
  • The intersection at S. Cloverdale Blvd and Citrus Fair Drive will be closed to all northbound traffic. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes of travel during that time.

The City of Cloverdale has two informational booths (Police Department and City) located in the Central Pavilion at the Cloverdale Citrus Fair.   There is lots of useful information and fun swag for fairgoers! City staff will be present from 2:00-6:00 pm on Friday, 12:00-5:00 pm  on Saturday (immediately after the parade) and Sunday 12:00-5:00 pm. Please stop by the City's booth and say hello!

Air District Incentive Program Update

The District’s Carl Moyer and FARMER programs are now open. The application period is April 15, 2022 until June 30, 2022.

Replace, repower or retrofit qualifying diesel engine-powered equipment or vehicles with newer, cleaner, diesel engines.

Carl Moyer provides assistance to qualifying applicants for marine vessel repower, and off-road diesel equipment including tractors. Carl Moyer no longer funds on-road diesel trucks.

FARMER provides assistance to qualifying applicants for agricultural equipment including tractors, electric UTVs, and on-road diesel agricultural trucks used less than 10,000 miles per year and in compliance with TRUCRS.
