Parks and Recreation are vitally important to the quality of life in a community, encouraging health and wellness, and contributing to the economic and environmental well-being of a community. The Cloverdale Parks and Recreation Department continually strives to establish and maintain a robust and active system of parks and recreation programs for public use and enjoyment. The Parks Division care-takes and maintains over 500-acres (and growing) of City park lands, open spaces, landscape districts, civic spaces, and roadside landscaping, including 8 neighborhood and community parks and over 400 trees. The up and coming Recreation division supports local sports and community events and will soon provide recreation programs, classes, clinics and events to participants of all ages and abilities.
